The Adaptive Job Page is your command central for all your jobs.
From the time you first apply, through the time a job is completed, it looks the same as the original job post, but tabs are added at the bottom to manage all your activities as the job progresses.
Active jobs progress through four stages: Applied, Invited, Rate Negotiation, Working and Completed
Applied This is the stage where you've first applied to a job and are waiting to hear back from the client.
Invited If your application results in the client sending you an invitation request to interview, then the job is listed in the Invited stage. A job can also be listed here if the client invited you after discovering your profile in a search or match recommendation.
Rate Negotiation If the client would like to begin negotiating rates with you the job is then listed in the Rate Negotiation stage. Interviews no longer occur in this stage. The job will remain in this stage, even if you have agreed upon a rate, until the client decides to award you the job.
Working If the client awards you the job, the job enters the Working stage. All other candidates are notified that they are no longer eligible. In this stage Adaptive Professionals must complete the I-9 verification process, if they haven't already done so as part of another job. After that you begin working and logging hours for the client to approve.
Completed When it is time for the job to end, the client will click the Mark Job Complete button and the job is categorized as Complete. Work hours can no longer be logged. In this stage the client can provide a review and rating of your performance.
Job tabs are added to the bottom of the job page as the job progresses to help you manage all the activities for that job. Each tab represents an activity.
Messages The Messages tab is where you and the client can exchange messages and upload files relevant to job.
Reference Requests If the client has requested references, the request will appear on the Reference Requests tab which will allow you to electronically send and receive replies from your references.
Interview Requests If the client has requested an interview it will appear on the Interview Requests tab. From here you can track the interview time and type of interview, join live interviews, answer recorded interviews and reschedule.
Availability Calendar The availability calendar keeps track of all your scheduled interviews.
Rate Negotiations Rate negotiations with a client appear on the Rate Negotiations tab. From here you can track the offered hourly rate, counter offers and any acceptance.
Work Hours The Work Hours tab appears during the job's Working stage. Each day's time you spent working on the job is recorded here. The client has this same tab where they can review and approve the hours.
Rating and Review When the job is marked complete the Rating and Review tab will be shown. This is where the client can provide valuable feedback in the form of ratings in 6 categories via a scale of 1-5 stars. These ratings will become part of your profile and helps make Adaptive a more effective marketplace. The client can also provide written feedback but this is only shown to you.
Hire Directly: If the client would like to make you a direct offer of employment instead of you working through Adaptive, their tabs have a Hire Directly button. When the client makes you a direct hire offer you will receive a notification in your email and your Adaptive inbox. If you accept, the client will be charged a direct hire fee, and you can then work directly for the client.
